Join us for at UPA in Altanta this year as we run a session titled “Head to head: Usabiity testing with or without eye tracking”. This session will take place on June 22nd.
SUMMARY:
An interactive session where you’ll learn about the pros and cons of usability testing with eye tracking vs. without through a live demonstration that will include audience participation and discussion.
ABSTRACT:
Half of the room will observe a study with eye tracking and the other half will observe without eye tracking. After this live demonstration, the audience will be engaged in a discussion regarding the pros and cons of these methods. All are encouraged to attend.
GOALS FOR THE SESSION:
Attendees at this session will:
- Understand how a study with eye-tracking is conducted
- Understand how a lab study without eye-tracking is conducted
- Understand the pros and cons of running a usability study with eye-tracking
- Understand when to use and when not to use eye-tracking
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
This session will be 90% interactive with full audience participation. During the first 30 minutes of the session, the audience will be engaged in either a usability study with eye-tracking or without eye-tracking. Attendees will act as participants, note-takers and observers. Then following this, the audience will engage in a lively discussion regarding the use of these methods.
