What is a Card Sort:
Technique which identifies how users organize content in their own minds. Useful in assisting with the design of information architecture, workflows, menu structure, and website navigation paths.
Types:
Open – Users are given a list of items and are asked to place them into logical groupings for which they themselves give category names to.
Closed – Users are given a list of items and are asked to place them in already existing categories given by the tester.
Typical questions:
